International AI Frameworks
The Biden Administration’s AI Executive Order calls for creation of an international framework. I think this is great in theory, but in practice I think it will be difficult to achieve as it is unlikely for different countries with varying approaches to get on the same page and create a cohesive unified approach, especially since there is a potential competitive advantage for any country who decides to not agree to any AI development or use restrictions.
